Sunday Services
On Sunday we have said services at 8am and 6pm. At 9:30 a children’s pro-anaphora (that is the first part of the Holy Eucharist service) is held in the children’s chapel in the Parish House.  Following this service the children have instruction for 35 to 40 minutes, after which most of the children go to the church to join their parents for communion. The 10am service is a choral Eucharist with sermon.  It is intended to last for one hour.  Following the Eucharist, all are invited to the Parish House for
refreshments.

Morning Prayer
Daily Morning Prayer is said Monday through Friday in the Chapel in the Church at 9am. All are welcome to join us.  


Thursday Celebration of the Eucharist 
Bible study is held on Thursday morning beginning at 9:15am and ending at 9:55am. in time for the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the Chapel in the Church at 10 a.m. The Sunshine Ministry meets immediately following this service in the Parish Hall.
 

Awards Sunday/ Parish Picnic - June 1

Today is Awards Sunday, June 1, immediately following the 10am service there will be an informal picnic on the church grounds, in the yard of the Almost New Shop.  

Please do come by for a few minutes to share with us the joy of all the ministries that have taken place over the past year at Christ Church.

 

Sunday Services for Summer.

Please note we will have our regular Sunday services at 8am, 10am and 6pm; however, we will cease having the 9:30 AM Pro-anaphora for the children in the Parish House Chapel, that service will resume in September.

 

Volunteers are needed for our summer Sunday Hospitality Hours.

Thursday Bible Study and Celebration of the Holy Eucharist

Bible study is held on Thursday morning beginning at 9:15am and ending at 9:55am in time for the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the Chapel in the Church at 10 a.m. The Sunshine Ministry meets immediately following this service in the Parish Hall.

 

Fourth Food Sunday

The fourth Sunday of the month is designated as Fourth Food Sunday. All non-perishable food items may be put in the basket in the rear of the church. There is a continued need to help Long Island’s Hungry. Non-perishable food items are always welcome and may be brought in for the basket in the parish hall or the church at any time.

 

Almost New Shop Closing for Summer

As of the June 1st the Almost New Shop will not be able to accept any donations as they will be closing for the summer months of July and August. Thank you for your cooperation. The shop’s regularly hours are Wednesday and Friday 10am to 3pm; phone (365-4321).
