Fellowship - Ministry to One Another

Fellowship Party
Parishioners sharing good food

An important part of parish life is social.  In a community (and especially a church community) our social life enhances our religious life. Throughout the year there are a number of activities that help members of our parish family get to know each other better. These include the following:

Coffee Hour

Coffee Hour is a pleasant time to get together with old friends and meet new friends every Sunday after the 10:00 service. We meet informally in the Parish House. Two parishioners are assigned to bring goodies each week.

Men's Dinner - May 17, 2010

The last of the men's dinners was a cook-out at the Rectory at 7:00 PM. Please use the sign up sheet in the rear of the church or call the Parish Office if you would like to attend.

Women's Dinners

The women of the parish like to get together every month or so for some casual dining and conversation. We usually order in from a local restaurant so everyone can relax and no one has to cook! The cost of $20 per person covers the cost of the food and wine plus a donation to our favorite charity!

Inspiration

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work. If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!    Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
