Fellowship, Parish Growth and Publicity Committee

Fellowship

The Fellowship, Parish Growth and Publicity Committee is working this year to organize events and create ways to help move the parish forward. The goal of the Committee is to have a fellowship event every month.  We are undecided about events for the end of year and welcome any suggestions from the parish community.

October
The annual Progressive Dinner was held in October and was, as always, a success.

November
The Pot Luck supper was held in November before the Community Prayer Service.  It went so well that the Committee plans to hold another one in April (see below). 

December
The Committee hosted the “take down” supper in the Guild Room immediately following the Holly Fair.

January
The Committee planned the annual Epiphany Party, which unfortunately had to be cancelled.

February
The Committee will hold a Women’s Dinner on Thursday, February 17 from 7:00 to 9:00 in the Guild Room.

March
We are organizing a bowling party for the whole family on Sunday, March 13^th in the afternoon.

April
We will hold a pot luck dinner early on a Sunday evening so that families can attend.

May/June
Events will be publicized well in advance.  

 

Parish Growth

We continue to discuss various ways to increase the size of the membership in Christ Church.  We welcome suggestions from the Parish community.
 

Publicity

Going forward, the Committee will consider creative ways to publicize the events and successes of the Christ Church Community.
