... that we had an awesome time at the end-of-Spring soiree last year.

Soooooooooooooo ... let's do it again!

Our Sail into Summer cocktail party will be held on Friday, June 3 at the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club (no, you need not be a member ... and they won't make you swab the decks to enter ... we think).

Dress is "Casual Chic" (editor's note - we have absolutely no idea what this means.  Seriously.  We're guessing this is a well-contrived plan to justify a three-day pleasure trip to the Americana.  Advice to guys: (1) don't even ask (2) just leave home the lumberjack shirt and the slacks that smell like mackerel - if you're feeling especially like Mr. Howell from Gilligan's Island, bring your blazer).

Those enraptured with fine protocol can expect a gilded invitation in the mail shortly.  $50 / person will cover everything.   RSVP's by May 20th.
