Halloween / All Hallows Eve - 2005
____________________________________________________________________________________________

Why don't mummies take vacations?

Sunday, October 30 will be our ‘All Hallows’ Eve’ celebration.

The children are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to Sunday School and they will have a song to sing in the church after communion.  Fr. Lowry will speak at the children’s Pro-Anaphora and at the homilies in the church about the European and American traditions that surround All Saints’ Day and Halloween.

We will also have a gala ‘Halloween’ Pot Luck Supper in the evening in the gymnasium of the Parish Hall at Christ Church. There will be special ‘Halloween Treats’ and games for the children.  The Outreach Committee will receive donations at the dinner for the work of UNICEF in the Kashmir region of Pakistan/India and the Gulf Coast.

Every one is welcome to come, in costume if you choose. Please use the sign-up sheet in the rear of the church or call the parish office at 627-2184 to let us know how many will be coming and whether you will bring a salad, entrée or dessert. We hope many of you will choose to attend.

... Because they're afraid they'll relax and unwind!
