If people are excited about doing the work of the church . . . if they're making mistakes freely and fearlessly . . . if they're having fun . . . if they're DOING things, rather than preparing reports and going to meetings ... then, somewhere, you have leaders.
 

2008 Annual Meeting The Annual Meeting of Christ Church was held on Sunday, February 3rd, 2008, beginning with the Holy Eucharist at 10:00 a.m. in the Church.  The business portion of the meeting will included election of vestry persons, review of the Rector's Report, recognition of several hard-working church members, and reports of the Wardens, Treasurer and Parish organizations.    Vestry and Committee News Christ Church's Vestry is our elected group of lay people who have responsibility and authority for the buildings, governance and finance of the parish. All Vestry meetings are open to all members of the parish, and members of the parish are warmly welcome at the meetings.    Cemetery and Grounds Doings (+ Parish House News) If you've ever strolled through our grounds, you know that quite a bit of Manhasset history is found in the Christ Church cemetery.  Many of the markers date back to the 17th and 18th centuries!  Yet, we love the open green spaces that connect our wide reaching Church campus - it's serene, contemplative and just great for Easter Egg hunts!    2007 Annual Meeting Just in case you're curious (not that we have any busybodies gallivanting around), here's a look at all the important work we did LAST year.  Enjoy!
