Vestry Nominations and Annual Parish Meeting:

The Annual Meeting of the Parish of Christ Church, Manhasset will take Sunday, February 3 following the 10:00 AM celebration of the Holy Eucharist.  All contributing members of Christ Church are welcome to vote at that meeting for members of the Vestry and all other business that may come before the meeting.  All people who attend Christ Church are welcome to attend.  At the Annual Meeting a number of important reports will be made to the parish family and discussion will be held on topics of importance to the members of Christ Church.

The Nominating Committee will propose the following slate of names:  Scott Ivers for Church Warden, and as Vestry Members, Jeannine Daly and Kathleen McGill for three year terms and Cathy Trezza for a one year term (for the unexpired term of Scott Ivers). Additional nominations may be submitted in writing up to two weeks prior to the Annual Meeting, no later than Friday, January 18, 2008.  Forms providing for the signatures of the nomination and seconding members of the parish, as well as the written consent of the nominee, are available from the parish office.

Persons qualified to vote at the Annual Meeting must be baptized members of the parish who have attained eighteen years of age and who have been regular attendants at parish worship and contributors to the support of the parish for at least twelve months prior to the meeting. However, all interested members of the parish are welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting.

Chairpersons of committees and leaders of parish organizations are asked to submit their written reports to the office by Monday, January 28, so they can be included in the "Annual Report of the Parish."
