Music at Christ Church

Children's Orchestra Society

We are truly fortunate to have a wonderful partnership with the Children's Orchestra Society, a talented group of musicians and teachers who are dedicated to teaching the language of music to children and teens.

COS conducts its classes in our Parish Hall, provides excellent training programs in classical music and gives its members performing opportunities by presenting them in orchestra and chamber music concerts with their peers and with established musicians.

Dr. Yeou-Cheng Ma (Executive Director) and Mr. Michael Dadap (Artistic Director and Conductor) have shared many brilliant performances with the Christ Church family, either in the context of our worship services or as stand-alone concerts. Further, many of our youth have greatly benefited from participating in their ensembles, private lessons and summer programs.

Student Recitals

Recitals give students valuable performance experience and allow them to demonstrate
their progress to family and friends. All members taking private lessons at COS are required
to perform in at least one Student Recital per year. Chamber groups take part in these
recitals upon the coaches' recommendations.

Unless otherwise specified, all recitals take place at 7 PM at COS/Christ Church Parish Hall.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
