Our Sunday School and Youth Education classes are in full swing! All are welcome! To find out more about our exciting activities come look inside.
We are very proud of our Sunday School at Christ Church. The Sunday Christian education program has five classes for children from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade and Youth Group for teenagers. Come join the 50 kids who are already enrolled!
To learn more about our Sunday activities, please contact the church office at (516) 627-2184 ... or ... just drop by the church any Sunday morning. Our classrooms are well marked (by grade, teacher) and our friendly staff would love to speak with you.
What to Expect on Sundays
The whole family comes to church together at 10:00 a.m. There are prayers, Bible readings, and hymns. After the children's sermon, the children leave for Sunday School during the singing of a Hymn. All students attend their classes in the parish house. At approximately 11:10 the children join their parents for refreshments.
On the fourth Sunday of each month, children join the congregation for a special Family Service. Kids can participate by serving as ushers, passing the collection basket or reading the scripture. The Chapel Choir sings a special anthem. The children stay for the full service and receive the Eucharist with their families.
Special Events
Our teachers spoil us with parties for many occasions, such as "Ice Cream Sundae" to start the year, Mardi Gras, and Advent.
Our Christmas Pageant with LIVE animals is one of the highpoints of the year!

Second grade children receive special instruction leading up to a low-key First Communion celebration in the spring.
We do service projects throughout the year, such as Operation Christmas Child and Cards for Veterans.
