I do not pray for success. I ask for faithfulness.

Looking Forward to Christmas
Considering that attendance at the "Midnight Mass" at Christ Church and at other churches has waned over the past decade, we are changing our Christmas Eve schedule to better accommodate families with young children - details inside.

Liturgy Notes
The center of the life of the church is communal worship—and at Christ Church the focus of worship is the Holy Eucharist. Each Sunday we gather to share in the mystery of Christ’s presence in bread and wine, made for us into the living presence of the Christ.

Feast of the Epiphany
The end of the `Twelve Days of Christmas' is the Feast of the Epiphany.  Epiphany began in eastern Christendom not as a celebration of the concluding event of the birth of Jesus, but as a celebration of the beginning of his ministry as an adult when he was baptized by John in the River Jordan.  Join us on Thursday, Jan. 6 at 10am or 7:30pm for celebrations of the Eucharist.

Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Service
Manhasset has a rich tapestry of cultures, ethnicities and religious traditions.  We give thanks for them.  We were happy to host the Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Service on Nov. 21 - sponsored by the Manhasset Clergy Association.  Look inside for the liturgy notes and participating congregations.

Confirmation Notice
Confirmation is an important step in Christian development and it will be our goal to give you the opportunity to be better prepared to understand, not only the tradition of the church, but the role of religious and spiritual life in the changing world around us, and the world in which you will be called to provide leadership.

Saint Francis Celebration
On Sunday, Oct. 3, we celebrated the Feast of St. Francis with the blessing of the animals at the conclusion of our 10am service.  We enjoyed the company of many dogs, cats, bunnies and even a cricket on a radiant Autumn day in the courtyard (hey, if they live in your garage, you might as well be friends with the little bugs!).  Photos!!!
