2005 Liturgy, Worship and Music Report

The Liturgy, Worship & Music Committee is a new committee formed with the goal in mind of making our church worship services run more smoothly and including the participation of as many people from the parish family who would like to be involved.

The Committee members are Jeannine Daly, Kathy McGill, Gloria Ryan, Diana Tadler, Erica Wedeking and Ward Wright.   Since inception, a new 6pm Sunday service has been initiated and new people have become involved as lectors, intercessors, and chalice administrators.   Some of the newest participants are from the younger population of our parish, and they have been a welcome addition to our services.

In the year 2005, we are planning to have training sessions for our acolytes, intercessors, lectors, ushers and servers with potluck or pizza dinner and fellowship to follow.  We are also planning to look into the times of our future “holiday” services to see if some changes are warranted.   Your suggestions and input are always welcome as well as your participation in any of the above areas.
