Father Lowry's suggestions for Lent: First, take some quiet time. Think about your life: consider your relationships; ask whether you are using your time in a way you believe to be productive.

Second, take some time for prayer. Praying does not need to be formal—it should be more from the heart than from the mind. Pray about what is most important to you.

And third, find something you can do for someone else—someone who really needs your help.

Each morning, prayers are said in the church at 8:45. Evening Prayer is said every day at 5:45 PM.

Maundy Thursday
April 5 at 7:30 PM

At 7:30 PM the Liturgy for Maundy Thursday, with the foot washing, will take place. Following the service the church will remain open for prayer and meditation (at the altar of repose in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd).

In addition, Morning Prayer will be said at 8:45 AM and the Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.

Good Friday
April 6, 2012

On Good Friday, we will have Morning Prayer at 8:45am and the church will remain open for prayer and meditation until 3:00pm. At 12 noon we will have the Proper Liturgy for Good Friday including the distribution the Holy Eucharist from the Altar of Repose. At 7:30pm there will be a service of the Way of the Cross with a Good Friday Meditation. The church will be closed on Holy Saturday.

Easter Day
April 8, 2012
9 and 11 AM

On Easter Day there will be five services:

6:30 am - Outdoor sunrise service

8:00 am - a said Eucharist of the Resurrection in the Chapel

9:00 am - a Family Eucharist followed by an Easter Egg Hunt

11:00 am - a Festival Choral Eucharist

6:00 pm - a said Eucharist in the chapel.
