Tell Me What Lies on the Other
Side
A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was
preparing to leave the examination room and said,
"Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side."
Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know."
"You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side?"
The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side of which came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door, a dog sprang
into the room and leaped on him with an eager show
of gladness.
Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't
know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing...I know my Master is there and that is enough."
May today there be peace within you.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are
meant to be.
"I believe that friends are quiet angels who
lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble
remembering how to fly.
Ten Things God Won't
Ask On That Day
1... God won't ask what kind of car you drove. He'll ask how many
people you drove who didn't have transportation.
2... God won't ask the square footage of your house, He'll ask how
many people you welcomed into your home.
3... God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet, He'll
ask how many you helped to clothe.
4... God won't ask what your highest salary was. He'll ask if you
compromised your character to obtain it.
5... God won't ask what your job title was. He'll ask if you
performed your job to the best of our ability.
6... God won't ask how many friends you had. He'll ask how many
people to whom you were a friend.
7... God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived, He'll ask how you
treated your neighbors.
8... God won't ask about the color of your skin, He'll ask about the
content of your character.
9... God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation. He'll
lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to the gates of
Hell.
10... God won't have to ask how many people you forwarded this to,
He already knows your decision.
