On Sunday, January 22, Ms. Hyun-Mee Lee, an instructor of piano at The Children’s Orchestra Society performed a portion her upcoming Carnegie Hall recital for the congregation of Christ Church prior to the 10 a.m. service. 

Ms. Lee prefaced her performance with some brief concert notes on the underpinnings of her selections.  Then we were simply amazed by her talented and moving interpretations of Schumann's Sonata No. 3 in F Minor and Bach-Busoni's "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme.

We were so honored to have a private recital by a performer of Ms. Lee's caliber in our church.  We hope that you will also consider attending her January 29 recital at Carnegie Hall (click here for details).
